Who Will I Race
ABA BMX offers three basic amateur skill levels. Novice, Intermediate and Expert. As a beginning rider you would most likely start racing in the Novice class, competing against other Novice riders of your own age. As your skills improve and upon winning a specified number of races, you will advance to the next level, Intermediate, where you will then race against Intermediate class riders your own age. The same then applies to the Expert class. As you can see the ABA wants to make competition as fair as possible.
