FT Diesel Locomotives
Built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Design, the FT diesel locomotive took its place next to its more famous cousin the F3, as one of the workhorses of the American rails. Lionel's version of the FT offers all the features you want, from two powerful motors, to highly detailed die-cast truck sides.

What's more, you will discover intricate rivet detail on the FT's die-cast pilots, separately applied grab irons, two operating headlights, vent and hatch details included throughout, and a removable hatch on the roof which allows easy access for upgrades. Sold as a set of A-A units with a separate sale B unit, these locomotives are produced from all-new tooling, and are offered in three popular road names. They're perfect for pulling the new matching streamliner passenger cars on pages 74-75, or any consist you choose.
